This conference is based on a report, produced through a year-long strategic foresight program involving 10 partners and insights from over 150 policy influencers, explores potential outcomes and their implications for the EU’s democratic future and global influence. Specifically, the report examines challenges and opportunities related to democratic resilience, the Rule of Law, fundamental rights, and the EU’s role as a global actor. The report and this public discussion are carried out as part of a larger project co-financed by the European Commission CERV mechanism.
