11 December 2024
18 November 2024
As tensions escalate in the Indo-Pacific, the ripple effects are being felt far beyond Asia’s shores.
Join our online discussion on Zoom with Alicja Bachulska, Marcin Jerzewski, and Matej Šimalčík! The event is organised on 21 November at 3:00 PM CET / 9:00 AM ET.

During the event, we will discuss the impact of tensions in the Indo-Pacific region on Central and Eastern Europe. How is the partnership among China, Russia, and North Korea reshaping the global order, and what are the implications for Central Europe? What role does South Korea play in supplying military equipment to European countries, and how could insecurity on the Korean Peninsula impact Europe’s military preparedness?
How can Central Europe prepare for the reality that growing geopolitical and economic influence in Asia and distant conflicts in the Indo-Pacific could directly impact its security and prosperity?
The event is organised around the analysis by Matej Simalcik, which raises the above issues. Read it now: Central Europe Cannot Ignore Indo-Pacific Tensions
