On 21 April at 9AM, Visegrad Insight cordially invites you to discuss the upcoming 2-year electoral cycle that will define the future of Europe and enjoy a morning coffee prepared by our team.
Europe will be shaped by the 2024 European Parliamentary Elections and will be determined in the context of several national races and challenges to European values. Against this backdrop, Visegrad Insight, Res Publica Foundation is launching a new citizen foresight project that will bring forward policy options in the European public debate.
Comments and a foresight discussion will be led by Wojciech Przybylski, editor-in-chief of Visegrad Insight, Res Publica Foundation (Poland), and the representatives of partner organisations, including Babeş-Bolyai University (Romania), Bratislava Policy Institute (Slovakia), The Civics (Bulgaria), DPart (Germany), Euro Créative (France), Fondazione G. Di Vagno (Italy), Latvian Transatlantic Organisation (Latvia), Open Lithuania Foundation (Lithuania), and Robert Schuman Institute (Hungary).
The discussion will be centered on the following questions:
This will be a kick-off to our latest EU co-funded citizens foresight on 2024 European Parliament elections featuring voices from CEE, and that will focus on developing potential scenarios related to the electoral processes as well as generate momentum in the civil society to deliberate, engage and participate shaping better patterns of the democratic process.
The meeting is expected to last 60 minutes and will take place at Res Publica’s offices at Galczynskiego 5 in Warsaw.
