A select group of experts, diplomats and journalists sat and discussed challenges for the next EU Agenda 2024-2029.

On 8 December 2023 at 1:30 PM, Visegrad Insight held a roundtable discussion titled, Next EU Priorities: A Spotlight on Democratic Security which included
representation of the European Commission in Poland.

A foresight-driven debate in Central Europe to shape the future direction of EU policy development while protecting European values and freedoms.

The event is part of the Foresight on EU Values and Democratic Security project co-funded by the EU, including closed-door and open-table meetings in five Central Europe countries, starting from Brussels and the “How European Democracies Are to Survive a New Trump Age” policy report.

The report identifies four scenarios that develop along potential transatlantic unity and the future of the EU perspective on the war in Ukraine. The fallout of each scenario on the EU’s democratic security agenda is significant. All registered participants will receive the report via email.
