About us

Fundacja Res Publica (the Res Publica Foundation) is a European think tank dedicated to encouraging public debate and raising awareness of democratic values and democratic security in Central Europe. As part of its activities, the Foundation publishes Res Publica Nowa and organises both in-person and online debates. It has also established the Res Publica Think-Tank, a group of distinguished experts specialising in political culture, democracy and public discourse.

The Foundation runs Visegrad Insight, an English-language portal and analytical platform based in Warsaw that focuses on European politics, security, geopolitics and the future of democracy. It connects the Central European perspective with broader European and international debates by publishing analyses, commentaries and expert reports. It supports public discourse through collaboration with experts, policymakers and representatives of government, business and academia. A key aspect of its work is strategic foresight, which enables the identification of long-term trends, challenges and development scenarios for Europe.

The Europe Future Forum is an international event organised by the Foundation that brings together politicians, public officials, experts, business leaders and representatives of the analytical community to discuss the strategic challenges facing Europe. The Forum provides a platform for in-depth exchanges of views and the development of recommendations on issues such as economic security, EU competitiveness, EU enlargement and democratic resilience. It places particular emphasis on the perspective of Central Europe, including Poland, and on strengthening cooperation between EU member states and candidate countries. The EFF combines public debate with intimate expert sessions and workshops that support relationship-building and the translation of analyses into concrete proposals for action.
