The Polish diplomat made an uncommon mistake.
Miroslaw Jasiński officially served as Polish ambassador in Prague for seventeen days. He presented his credentials to President Miloš Zeman in Lány on 20 December. After the Christmas holidays, he gave an interview to the Polish edition of German broadcaster Deutsche Welle, in which he criticised the actions of the Polish state-owned power company PGE in the dispute between Poland and the Czech Republic over the Turów mine.

The interview was published on Thursday morning, 6 January, and in the evening, spokesman of Polish government Piotr Müller announced on Twitter that the ambassador would be dismissed at the decision of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
