Ukrainian Women Shape the Future of Warfare. Europe Must Learn

Alina Sarnatska is a Resilient Futures Fellow 2026 at Visegrad Insight. She is a Ukrainian playwright, war veteran and PhD in social work. She served as a combat medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and now works with veteran communities and women affected by violence. She is the founder of the volunteer care network Teplonosiї, and her writing and public work focus on resilience, trauma, and civic responsibility in wartime societies.
