For Kyiv, the strikes offer a fleeting diplomatic leverage, a reminder that American muscle can still crimp the arteries of rogue regimes. As President Zelenskyy tweeted with characteristic defiance, ‘whenever there is American resolve, global criminals weaken’ – a not-so-subtle jab at Moscow’s faltering web of influence.
