2025 has begun with a marked geopolitical churn, economic recalibration and shifting national priorities. As new alliances take shape and old ones falter, the behaviour of nations, regional groupings and international organisations is evolving.
Against this backdrop, the recent visit of the European Commission President to India, alongside the College of Commissioners, signals the European Union’s intent to deepen ties with India. Within this broader context, the Visegrad Group emerges as a sub-regional formation with significant potential for enhanced cooperation with India.
