Why the 50 billion euro promise, the majority vote decision, and the slap to Orbán’s face matter for Ukraine’s future and Europe’s greatness?

The EU summit in Brussels was a historic event for the EU and Ukraine, who got a 50 billion euro promise for the next few years. The EU also agreed to make more decisions by majority vote, showing that it can act fast and effectively.

The summit showed that Europe is determined to make itself great in a different way than Trump would imagine.

After all, the Trumpist camp in Congress would never imagine passing a 50 billion multi-annual financial package for Ukraine while at the same time agreeing on effective border protection measures and new funding to regulate migration.
