As Russia’s war against Ukraine continues the notion of peace negotiations offers little clarity amid shifting statements and strategic posturing from both Kyiv and Moscow.
For many months, even as Russian troops advanced in the Donetsk region of Ukraine and Ukrainian forces made an unexpected push into Russia’s Kursk region, discussions have continued on what Russian-Ukrainian negotiations should entail.
