Event: Visegrad Insight Breakfast – Europe’s economic security

On 11 April 2022, Visegrad Insight held a closed-door expert discussion with Péter Ungár, Member of the National Assembly of Hungary from the LMP (Green) party’s national list since 8 May 2018.
The conversation revolved around Hungary’s position after the elections, with a focus on the electoral politics of the major Fidesz win and the next steps for the Hungarian oppositional parties. Ungár gave a sobering account of the weeks leading up to the election and garnered some critical insight as to why the Hungarian oppositional party failed – and what they should do moving forward.
