Lithuanian defence industry and policymakers can learn much from Taiwan
The Lithuanian defence industry unlike Taiwan’s, is small, composed of Tier two and Tier three manufacturers that focus on the production of dual-use items mainly for export.
So far the Lithuanian armed forces use only a few items and services provided by the Lithuanian defence industry. The governmental approach towards the national defence industry is not sufficiently supportive.

During his military career since 1998, he has served in different positions from Battalion to Lithuanian AF Defence Staff level.
