Democratic Security Outlook: 13-19 September

President of the European Commission von der Leyen will present the State of the Union, and Zapad-2021 continues to heighten tensions in the countries bordering Russia or Belarus, especially in Ukraine. The Pope visits Central Europe in a tour promoting equality and openness while a third round of elections will be held in Bulgaria after no party was able to form a government, again. 

Every Monday Visegrad Insight releases a weekly update on key developments in Central Europe from the point of view of democratic security.
