Governments in Washington, London and, most notably, Brussels made considerable financial promises for the reconstruction of Ukraine this week, while Kyiv pushed for more pragmatic business solutions as well.
If somebody asks Czech businesspeople sympathetic to Ukraine about possible investment or export opportunities as a part of the recovery and reconstruction effort, then usually there is a reply: We need export or investment insurance to think about it in the country which is still at war.
