Event: Central Europe on the Conference on the Future of Europe

A strategic foresight workshop with a small circle of top CEE experts and Members of the European Parliament to perform a reality check on scenarios on the future of Europe developed by CEE civil society leaders and build up actionable solutions for the public debate.

This interactive session is organised online by Visegrad Insight, Res Publica Foundation (Poland) on 18 February 2022, and will involve three interactive sessions led by Wojciech Przybylski, the Editor-in-chief. It will be preceded by short inspirational discussions with Ivan Vejvoda, Acting Rector of the IWM (Vienna) and Central European MEPs — Danuta Hübner, Markéta Gregorová, Miriam Lexmann, and Adam Jasser to inspire ideas for the discussion. It is co-sponsored by the European Parliament and reflects on our upcoming report featuring Voices from CEE on the Conference on the Future of Europe

The meeting will be held on Zoom and through Miro. At the initial session, feedback from experts with a reality check regarding scenarios developed so far and during previous sessions will be asked to backcast desirable outcomes and develop recommendations.  At the event thought leaders from across the EU and in particular, the CEE region will take part.
